What data we process
With an account: your username, your email address, an encrypted representation of your password (we cannot read your password), the venues assigned to your account, and the moment you accepted the terms.
With a subscription: the data needed for payment. This is processed by Mollie; we do not store payment details such as account numbers ourselves.
When using the site: we record which venue was viewed and when. Anonymous visitors receive a random number in a cookie for this purpose; that number cannot be linked to a person. We use no advertising or tracking cookies and do not share this data with third parties.
If you sign up for news or request a venue: your email address and the location you enter.
Why we use it
- To give you access to the service and manage your subscription
- To contact you about your account or an outage
- To understand which venues are used and where demand exists
- To prevent abuse (for example a limit on login attempts)
How long we keep it
Account data is kept for as long as you have an account, and briefly afterwards for administration. Visit data is deleted automatically after 90 days. News sign-ups are kept until you unsubscribe. Invoices are kept as required by tax law.
Who we share it with
Only parties needed to deliver the service:
- Strato (Germany) — server and email
- Mollie (Netherlands) — payments
We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising.
Your rights
You can access, correct or delete your data, and object to processing. Contact info@windcast.pro. If you disagree with how we handle your data, you may file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
